ToGather 2.0 is here

A new share menu everywhere, profiles got a glow-up, communities feel fresher, and the organizer panel got a lot smarter. Here's what landed in 2.0.

ToGather 2.0 shipped in April. It's the biggest single release we've ever pushed — a long list of upgrades touching almost every page in the app. Here's a tour of what changed.

A new share menu, everywhere

Every event, every community, every profile now has the same share menu. One tap gives you:

  • A direct share to Twitter / X or LinkedIn
  • An email with the link pre-filled
  • A copy link button

It replaces the old "share button that did something slightly different on every device" experience. Same flow on mobile and desktop, every time.

And when you finish buying a ticket, the success screen opens straight into that share menu. Bring a friend along in the same beat you confirmed your own ticket.

Profiles got a glow-up

Your profile page is doing more work now. Events split cleanly into upcoming and past, with show-more on each. Badges have their own tab. The follow button turns green with a "Following" label once you're in. Phone numbers autofill from your profile into ticket forms (and save back to your profile when you buy your first ticket, so the next purchase is one less field to fill).

Lodos staff members carry a subtle badge across the app so you know who you're talking to.

Community pages feel fresher

Organizer rows now show roles ("Founder", "Co-organizer") and sort the owner first. Top three organizers show by default with a clean "+N organizers" overflow. Social links — Instagram, X, LinkedIn, website — sit under the metrics row. Community cards got a banner with an overlapping logo, real member avatars stacked at the bottom, and a Pro badge for Pro-subscribed communities. The communities list now scrolls infinitely instead of fighting a load-more button.

Private channels get a redesigned join page — channel avatar, name, and description in a clean white card, with a proper redirect to login when you're not signed in yet.

A smarter organizer panel

If you run events, you'll notice:

  • Cancelled tickets show with a red X inline next to the name; organizer-added tickets show with a green badge. No more squinting at the table to figure out what counts.
  • Revenue and ticket counts correctly exclude cancelled, refunded, and bulk-added entries — with a tooltip explaining the math.
  • Drag-and-drop speaker reordering with proper swap semantics; the order sticks and survives refresh.
  • Search on the community members tab (it was hiding behind a TODO).
  • Save buttons disable themselves when there's nothing to save.

Comments, redesigned

The composer moved above the comment list. The five most recent top-level comments show first with their replies inline, and a "Load more" button reveals the rest. Replies thread cleanly with a soft connector line. On mobile, actions tuck into a three-dot menu so the comment text gets the room it deserves.

A hundred small things

We also: added skeleton loaders to every image so pages stop flashing as they fill in, animated the mobile menu, swapped login-required errors for a friendlier warning toast, put a NEW badge on the certified events tab, kept your already-bought tickets visible in the /tickets sidebar, and routed online events directly to the tickets section when you click join.

What's next

2.0 is the foundation. The marketing site, the /now blog (you're on it), and a sharper organizer toolkit are already in flight. If you spot anything off, tell us — we read everything.
